Horizontal Point Water Sampler

pore

  • Thin-layer sampling of:
    • physical (temperature)
    • chemical (dissolved gasses, nutrients, metals)
    • and biological (phytobacterioplankton) data
  • Nonmetalic sample containment
  • Messenger activated horizontal release mechanism is easy to load
  • near bottom water recovery with bottom tripping assembly (optional)
  • horizontal release mechanism:
    • Polyethylene and stainless steel construction
    • simple, spring loaded release pins provides easy sampler loading and surefire operation
    • built-in heavy duty handle
    • single sampler attached to end of line
    • Typical water samplers have three (3) basic characteristics:
      1. Orientation: vertical or horizontal
      2. Cylinder type: clear polycarbonate or opaque PVC
      3. Sampler volume: 2.2, 3.0 and 5.0 liters

Below is a list of our standard HORIZONTAL Water Samplers:

    • WATER SAMPLER, HORIZONTAL, CLEAR POLYCARBONATE X 2.2 LITERS:
      • Best suited for: general purpose water sampling, near bottom studies, and zooplankton collections.
      • 2.2 liter, clear polycarbonate cylinder
      • Silicone and polyethylene end seals (EPA approved for trace metals)
      • 10 cm diameter x 35 long
      • Stainless steel ballast weights
      • 20 meter line with line reel, solid bronze messenger x 333 gm
      • Toolbox carry case
      • Complete and ready to deploy
    •

    • WATER SAMPLER, HORIZONTAL, CLEAR POLYCARBONATE X 3.0 LITERS
      • Best suited for: general purpose water sampling, near bottom studies, and zooplankton collections.
      • 2.2 liter, clear polycarbonate cylinder
      • Silicone and polyethylene end seals (EPA approved for trace metals),
      • 10 cm diam. x 45 long
      • Stainless steel ballast weights
      • 20 meter line with line reel, solid bronze messenger x 333 gm
